Shime Coal Mine

The Shime Coal Mine is one of the most famous haikyo in Japan. Is has been on numerous covers of books, was the main building of the anti-zombi fortress meme, and is now a touristic attraction.

It is actually not a full-range mine but only a 48-meter high shaft tower built in 1943.
