Murakashi Tokano Mine

Murakashi Mine (村樫石灰戸叶鉱山) is another limestone mine in Japan that has been left rusting in peace. The particularity of this one is its impressive colorlessness.

    I like the portrait chair shot. Opening shot seems too heavily HDR to me. You say colorless, but that is surely due to the season- I went last month and it was bright with green overgrowth to contrast the red rusted metal and yellow tanks. 

    • Thanks 🙂 Yeah the opening shot is really over-processed, but I thought that it looks quite nice in a small format. I went there in winter, so I do believe the conditions were really different, I’d love to see your pictures, but there aren’t anywhere, right ? Let me know 🙂
