I personally much prefer to be greeted by Totoro than Mickey, but it is way more common to find Disney products than anything else in abandoned clinics. I imagine that it is because most Japanese people feel more relaxed when they see the famous – but foreign – cute plush toy.

I found this obstetric clinic by myself, by walking around in an old onsen town. I actually had this intense feeling that I was surrounded by abandoned clinics and I actually found a few of them. Only this one was truly accessible, through the former family house of the doctor. I didn’t dare to go in the X-Ray room, however. I hope I didn’t miss something amazing.
