Asama Volcano Museum

Asama Volcano Museum (浅間火山博物館) is an old haikyo museum located right next to its younger successor who is still attracting many visitors. The old museum might be still in use for sending out radio signal, judging from the beeping sound and a orange aluminum room on top of the observation deck. Our visit was accompanied by some maintenance staff, who were obviously too busy to care about us.

About this site

Since its owner disappeared in the fog-shrouded mountains of Nagano on a mysterious November day, it is unclear who is keeping this website alive.
