Urbex in Japan
Here is my list of abandoned places in Japan. The map below represents spots which are quite famous, or which has been demolished. Secret spots are not shared by this website.
Ob-Gyn (産婦人科の廃墟) is an abandoned obstetrics and gynecology hospital located in the nice countryside of Japan.
This abandoned clinic, on the brink of collapse, has seen many whalers coming here to get either cured or get the strength that they need for their next trip on the sea.
It has been turned into basically a museum, registered as a industrial heritage, and there are flocks of photographers and enthusiasts coming to photograph it.
It is used for events and shooting, like for example a clip for the terrible band Nogizaka 46.
I moved in slowly, looking for the stairs, and there it was: the dog.
Along a dark road covered by trees, you'll find a little but scary building topped by a long cheminee.
Ogushi Mine was an abandoned sulfur mine in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture. It is a famous spot for stars gazing and its view on the Milky Way.
The mine already existed before World War I but its real exploitation only started when Nichitsu bought it in 1937.
This house is on a top of a little hill in the middle of the woods and, at the same time, of a big town.
The White School looks at first like a very typical school in Japan.
